Evaluation of autochthonous apple varieties (Malus domestica) in the area of Tomislavgrad

The research included seven autochthonous apple varieties in the area of Tomislavgrad, Stipanjići locality, during 2018, which represent natural wealth our country. In varieties: Petrovača bijela, Budimka, Ljutika-Divljaka, Ledarica, Bedrica, Ljepocvjetka-Cvjetača and Jonatanka, phenological characteristics were monitored analyzed with morphological-pomological properties fruits. following monitored: flowering phenophases, germination first fruits, fruit growth, ripening full maturity. Five for description fruits determined using UPOV descriptor apples (UPOV, 2003). results monitoring morphological pomological show that lowest average weight was variety Cvjetača (58,38 g), while highest had Bedrica (140,59 g). result is evident value width (53,72 mm), Jonatanka (70,83 mm). lenght (47,24 (59,72 Budimka stem length (2,73 cm), Divljak (1,43 cm). largest cup concavity (1,28 bijela (0,41 mm) concavity. Based on this research, examined can be used a valuable genetic material breeding programs, to create new varieties, as well propagation commercial plantations.
